Developing individuals through outdoor adventure

Designed primarily to support local authorities who are under pressure to find placements for service users who need a solution.

At COG we can provide residential, outdoor based programmes. Using an excellent network of locations and venues, programmes consist of adventurous activities and therapeutic approaches to help support the client in a time of heightened anxiety. The programmes can lead to stability in client behaviour and improved emotional ability. All programmes allow the client a chance to gain nationally recognised qualifications.

The service offers providers time to respond and can allow for a much better Transition, should the client move to a new placement. We offer a full support service for Transitions including facilitation of Placement Contact, Integration, and "Good Ending's" as well as further ongoing support.

As with all Crisis Services the full use of COG's Adventure Therapy approaches are employed throughout including the full use of services provided by FPP. (Please see Adventure Therapy).
